Holiday greetings & life updates
It’s been a little while since I’ve been in touch, and as the year winds down, I wanted to share a quick personal update with you.
As you may know, I was offered a full-time contact position working in a policy/communication role in the federal government in December 2024. After nearly a year in my current contract, my term has been extended! I’m working with a very talented team where I’m grateful to be offered mentorship and meaningful opportunities to grow and learn. I’m truly enjoying the experience. I do miss cooking with all of you, but feel very fortunate for this new challenge!
On the home front, our family made a big move this fall! We bought a house, which also meant a new school for our daughter and lots of exploring in a new neighbourhood here in Ottawa. We’re currently in renovation mode, buying many new things for our home, and hunting down second-hand and free furniture where we can. It’s been a busy but exciting process watching everything come together.
Just a head's up that I won’t be posting here often, but when I do, it will be with meaningful updates for those of you who are interested in plant-based cooking lessons, workshops and events. In the meantime, my recipe index is available if you’re ever looking for plant-based cooking inspiration (I'll keep that going indefinitely).
