Pulses— which includes dried peas, bean, lentils, and chickpeas— are high in protein, low in fat, packed with vitamins and minerals and above all else, the are delicious when prepared correctly. Join me for a tasty and informative evening featuring a few my favourite pulse-based recipes. Sample chili lime roasted chickpeas and white bean parsley dip. Enjoy a classic Indian split pea dahl (stew), and for dessert you’ll savour peanut butter chocolate chip blondies, made with red lentils. It’ll all taste so good, you won’t even know it’s healthy.
